Changing the speed of a video - either slowing it down or speeding it up - can add emphasis to your footage. Here's how to do it in the Seenit editor.

What can I use this for?
Slowing down
Slowing things down can help us see actions that would be difficult to catch or appreciate in real time, like in sports or nature programmes. If you're a film buff, or even if you aren't, you'll have seen slow motion used artistically to add more impact to a moment, like a knockout blow.
💡Don't forget that when changing video speed, the sound will change too, so you might need to mute sound or avoid clips with lots of speech.
Speeding up
Speeding things up allows you to shorten videos that might otherwise be too long to watch or post. It can also save you from cutting footage you'd rather keep. Timelapse shots can be used to great effect when you have a still camera filming the hustle and bustle of a train station, or for something like a makeup tutorial.
